Prayer

"We know that prayer changes things. We know that the greatest weapon in our hands, the greatest thing we can do, the greatest contribution we can make at this moment, is to firstly pray. So let's pray..."

Gavin Calver, Evangelical Alliance CEO

There is nothing more exciting, or powerful, than Christians praying together. As a Church we are all being encouraged to consider our own Prayer life and, also, our corporate Prayer life.

So join us in Prayer.

Praying for the Coronavirus:

The Evangelical Alliance have produced some helpful prayers that you could use. Click here to see them.

Please particularly remember to pray for:

  • those in our own fellowship

  • those who live in on there own

  • those who are frontline workers

  • those who already have health issues

  • our young people who studies have abruptly come to an end

Praise & Prayer:

As we can continue to stay home let's make prayer part of our daily routine. Please use the church directory to help you remember members of our church family.

Here are some Praise & Prayer points to help you:

  • Give thanks to God for Boris Johnson and those supporting and advising him, pray for them as they make important decisions

  • Give thanks for our health system and all those who work in it, pray for those from Salway who are working in the NHS and care homes for their safety and for their families

  • Give thanks for the many key workers who continue to work in difficult circumstances and conditions

  • Pray for those in our fellowship who are in the high risk category. Pray for Ian and Ann as they support people and prepare services
